Young and young adult carers

A young adult carer is someone aged 18 to 25 who looks after or helps to look after someone unpaid. It might be your mum or dad, grandparent, brother or sister or a close relative. This often means doing things like cooking, cleaning, shopping, giving medication or just talking and helping when the person you care for needs emotional support.

If this sounds like you, we are here for you.

You can join our Carers' Information Service to become part of our carers' community.
